Sports & outdoor events

The Annual Stanford Powwow Fun Run, which will be celebrating its 14th edition, in May 2010, is perhaps one of the most popular and favorite annual sporting event in Stanford. The starting and finish line of this entertaining fun run are at the Powwow Arena, across Galvez Street from Stanford Stadium. The Stanford Powwow, the actual event, in which the Fun Run is incorporated, is the largest multi-cultural event which happens on Stanford campus, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the region, offering them a 3-day fun-filled celebration, every year.
